Getting Verified as a Supplier (KYS)
Every supplier goes through a Know Your Supplier (KYS) review before they can list products. Here's what that actually involves.
Why it exists
KYS protects buyers by making sure the businesses selling on Comilmart are real and legitimate before they get access to a storefront. It's the same reason a "Verified" badge on a supplier's profile actually means something.
What you'll submit
Your application includes your business details, your mission and vision, and — importantly — the product categories you supply. This category declaration matters beyond just your profile: it's what determines which buyer quote requests get routed to you automatically.
Review timelines
Review speed can vary depending on your subscription plan tier — higher tiers get faster verification. You'll see your application status update in your dashboard once a decision is made.
If your application is rejected
You'll see the specific reason for rejection in your dashboard. Common reasons include incomplete business information or missing documentation — you're welcome to reapply once you've addressed the issue.
Getting the Verified badge specifically
Being KYS-approved lets you start selling, but the separate "Verified" badge is earned by submitting your actual business certificate (and ideally facility/warehouse photos or video) for additional review. You can keep selling while this is pending — go to Verification in your dashboard to start.
