Adding Product Certifications to Your Listings
If your products carry real certifications — CE, ISO 9001, FDA, RoHS, or others — adding them to your listing gives buyers a concrete reason to trust you over a competitor who hasn't.
Where to add them
When creating or editing a product, scroll to the Certifications section and click "+ Add certification." You can add as many as genuinely apply to that product.
What to fill in
- Certification name — the standard name (CE, ISO 9001, FDA, etc.) or a custom one if it's specific to your industry
- Issuing body (optional) — who issued it
- Certificate number (optional) — your specific certificate's reference number
- Document upload (optional but recommended) — attach the actual certificate as an image or PDF
Why the document matters
A certification name alone is just a claim. Uploading the actual document gives buyers something real to check — and it shows up prominently on your product page in a dedicated certification gallery, not buried in the description.
How buyers see it
A small badge appears near your product title for each certification. Clicking it scrolls the buyer down to a full gallery showing the certificate document, issuing body, and certificate number — similar to how Alibaba displays supplier certifications.
