This wine has a deep, bright ruby color with red highlights. The taste is juicy and round on the palate with firm tannins that combine well with dark fruits, prunes, and roasted nuts with a toasty finish. Patagón cabernet sauvignon reserve is vegan-friendly and a great partner with baked chicken or roasted beef. The vineyards are located in the Central Valley, slightly closer to the Pacific Ocean, and therefore receive some coastal breezes that help keep temperatures in the summertime marginally cooler. Annual rainfall averages about 600 millimeters (23.6 inches) concentrated in winter months.
